Loose Plastic Free shop is moving from Gloucester Street to a new home at 4 Lansdown. I popped by to meet Julie, Loose’s owner, to see what exciting things are in store.
With more and more consumers trying to cut down on plastic packaging waste, Loose has been growing steadily in popularity and is now one of three finalists in the Cotswold Life Food & Drink Awards (Sustainability Initiative of the Year category).
In addition to the great selection of products already available at Loose, the new larger premises will mean that they can expand their range over the coming months to include herbs and spices, eco-friendly cleaning products from Forest Hog, eco make-up, stationery basics such as paperclips and upcycled paper and envelopes from Vintage Mary – all without the unnecessary plastic packaging.
Julie would also be very interested to hear from other local, ethical, small scale producers to chat about stocking their products in the shop. Do get in touch!
We at Heart of Stroud would like to wish Julie and the team the very best of luck at the new Lansdown premises. Grab yourself a reusable container and drop in and see what goodies they have in stock today!
Open: Mon-Sat 10am-4pm.
