WIN – The Veg Table by Erin Baker

Did you see our delicious recipe for Tom Kha in the new issue of Heart of Stroud? The reason it looks so good is that it was expertly concocted by Chef Erin Baker who founded the Natural Cookery School in Nailsworth. Erin is celebrating the launch of her new cookbook, The Veg Table and she has kindly given us a copy of this fantastic book to give away to one lucky reader! All the recipes are vegetarian or vegan, and many are easily adaptable for gluten-free or sugar-free diets. Read more about it here:

To be in with a chance of winning this fabulous book all you have to do is comment on this page. Tell us what’s your favourite veggie dish? I’ll get the ball rolling: At the moment I’d have to say I love a good hearty winter bean soup. With dumplings. (Mmmmm dumplings!) I could eat it every day and not complain. How about you?

The competition closes at noon on Monday 14th January 2019 and the winner will be chosen at random.

Please note that comments will be checked before they are made live!

Sounds delicious. I think my favourite dish would be a vegan aubergine and mushroom moussaka, with garlic ciabatta. 😋

Would have to be lasagne or shepherdless pie 😍

Thanks for the Tom Kath recipe, been looking for one for ages! I’d have to say that at the moment I could live off the vegan Thai curry I buy at the market on Saturdays. I’m scared I’ll eat it so much that I’ll go off it, but it hasn’t happened yet. Looks like a lovely book, congrats Erin!

I love pretty much all veggie stuff; inc falafels at the market and the Thai vegan curry. At home my fave is veg curry or chilli. The book looks great Erin! Well done x
